This beginner's course is designed to learn the basics of Saxophone playing which includes reading skills, breathing techniques and expanding knowledge of music theory.

STRING INSTRUMENTS
With Jennifer Ruggirello
Learn violin, viola, cello, or bass. This class will enable students to learn the basics and/or hone their skills on string instruments. Individualized instruction can be arranged after first class. The classes will be held in Brookwood Hall.

WIND AND BAND
ADVANCED METHODS FOR WIND INSTRUMENTS:

This course is designed for students in middle school or high school concert band interested in improving their knowledge and proficiency with their instrument. Excellent way to prepare for NYSSMA solos.

CONDUCTING THE BAND:

Students will learn how to conduct a concert band and lead a performing ensemble as well as develop conducting and score reading skills. Excellent for drum majors and other high school music students interested in leading large performing groups.
